Overview
Ninh Thuan is a coastal province in South Central Vietnam, about 340km south of Ho Chi Minh City, 100km from Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to the southwest, and 110km from Dalat to the southeast. Ninh Thuan has immense white salt fields and beautiful, pristine beaches. Visitors can come here at any time, however, from April to June is the best time to enjoy the exciting summer at sea. August, September, and October are the time for ripe grape seasons and unique festivals of indigenous Cham people.
Visitors can come to Ninh Thuan by motorbike, car, bus, plane, or train from Hanoi, Saigon, and Da Nang.
Ninh Thuan beach has many famous beautiful beaches, rivers, streams, and Cham towers for tourism. It also preserves many cultural works of ancient Champa architecture associated with Cham ethnic cultural festivals. Currently, Ninh Thuan has 3 Cham towers, built about 400 - 1100 years ago. Ancient Cham villages include Bau Truc pottery village and My Nghiep brocade village. In addition, there are 2 ecotourism areas in the province including Nui Chua and Phuoc Binh National Parks.
